For as long as I can remember, music, photography, writing and visual art have been part of my life. At different moments, each has come to the foreground, but none has ever replaced another. They have simply become different ways of perceiving and engaging with reality.

A few existential questions have followed me throughout my life. Who are we? How deeply are we connected with nature? What in us is instinct, and what is shaped by culture? Are there limits to inspiration and cruelty? Why were we given reason, and what are we meant to do with it?

No single path leads to complete answers. Each sheds a different light on these questions. Exploring them through different forms of expression has become my way of understanding human nature.

Clavis, my alter ego, is a wanderer who crosses one frontier after another, trying to unlock new doors. He is still searching for his home. I imagine a place where the air is clear enough for creation and encounters with kindred spirits.
